Waarschijnlijk de meestvoorkomende nachtgekko op Mauritius. Ze verschijnen wanneer de avond valt op plaatsen die met kunstlicht verlicht worden en plaatsen zich nabij deze verlichting geduldig wachtend op vliegjes, muggen en andere kleine insecten die aangetrokken worden door de lichten.
